Like, non of the "difficulty" in the game matters whether it is easy or hard, if the game just keeps taking so god damn long. can you see how hard our game is? wow it's so hard, we are so good at this haha!" The game will still sometimes go "haha we decide you lose now cause we control the game haha isn't this fun? you needed 1 more dmg to kill this enemy haha but we didn't give you that one extra dmg haha and now half your party dies haha. and as far as turn based combat systems go it's alright. It's got good combinations you can do etc. The actual battle system in the game is fine. The entire fight wasn't worth anyones time, whether you win or not.
Then you got the road battles: you have 5 rounds to kill all enemies. drive through the valley passing by the exact same thingsĪll this (and more i didn't even add) before you actually get to the real part of the game and just all gets worse.Įndless coach driving with the game randomly just putting stress on your heroes, some weird "run over the debris" mechanic to maybe in any way shape or form give the player SOMETHING to do while you drive towards the next thing. drive to the crossroads and choose your heroes
Drive the coach to the building and choose your "world" The coach mechanic is horrendous and adds nothing to the game.
Every single design decision in this game is about wasting endless amounts of time with tedium.
